ABOUT INTERNAL QUALITY ASSURANCE CELL (IQAC)

Mother Theresa Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (MIPER), Kurnool, established in 2018, is committed to imparting quality pharmaceutical education in alignment with its vision and mission. The institution continuously strives to nurture competent, ethical, and research-oriented pharmacy professionals to serve the healthcare sector and the community.

As part of its commitment to quality, MIPER emphasizes continuous improvement in the teaching-learning process, research activities, and student support systems. Feedback is systematically collected from all stakeholders — students, parents, alumni, employers, recruiters, and industry experts — to identify areas for enhancement and to strengthen academic and administrative performance. Regular revisions are made in the curriculum delivery, evaluation methods, and assessment processes to improve learning outcomes and employability skills.

In accordance with the guidelines of the University Grants Commission (UGC) and the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), MIPER has constituted an Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) to plan, monitor, and sustain quality standards in all academic and administrative activities of the institution.

The IQAC of MIPER functions as a central quality monitoring and advisory body, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement. It plays a pivotal role in institutionalizing best practices, ensuring accountability, and promoting transparency in governance, research, and education.

The IQAC is constituted under the Chairmanship of the Principal, with the IQAC Coordinator serving as the convener. The cell comprises representatives from:

  • Heads of various departments
  • Teaching and non-teaching staff
  • Student representatives
  • Alumni members
  • Management and administrative representatives
  • Experts from industry and academia

Together, the IQAC works proactively to design, implement, and review quality assurance strategies to achieve excellence in pharmacy education, research, innovation, and community engagement.
