Admission Process
B.Pharm
The minimum qualification for admission into first year of the B. Pharm course is a pass in the Intermediate examination (10+2)/ HSC conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognized as equivalent by Pharmacy Council of India thereto with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (College Code: MIPR).
B.Pharm (Lateral Entry)
The minimum qualification for admission into second year of the B. Pharm course (Lateral Entry) is a pass in D. Pharm. course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act (College Code: MIPR).
Pharm.D
The minimum qualification for admission into first year of the Pharm.D course is a pass in the Intermediate (10+2) conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh or a pass in D.Pharm course from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects: Mathematics or Biology approved by the Pharmacy Council of India as equivalent to any of the above examinations. Provided that a student should complete the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the course. Admissions to the College are made along with the other Pharmacy Colleges in the State through a common entrance test (EAMCET) conducted by the Govt. of Andhra Pradesh (College Code: MIPR).
B.Pharm and Pharm D Admission Pattern
70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener, based on merit in the EAMCET (A-Category).
30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates (B-Category).
In addition to the above, Diploma holders are admitted into second year of B. Pharm to an extent of 10% of intake based on merit in the ECET, under lateral entry scheme.
M.Pharm and Pharm D (PB) admission pattern
70% of the seats are allotted by the Convener based on merit in the PGECET.
30% of the seats are earmarked for NRI/Management candidates.
