ADMISSION PROCEDURE & GUIDELINES
Introduction
Mother Theresa Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (MIPER) follows a transparent, merit-based admission process for all programmes. Admissions are conducted as per the rules of PCI, AICTE, APSCHE, and the Government of Andhra Pradesh.
1. Eligibility Criteria
B.Pharmacy (B.Pharm)
- Must have passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology or Mathematics.
- Admission through EAPCET (Engineering, Agriculture & Pharmacy Common Entrance Test) conducted by APSCHE.
- Lateral entry into 2nd year through ECET for D.Pharmacy holders.
M.Pharmacy – Regulatory Affairs
- Must hold a B.Pharmacy degree from a PCI-recognized institution.
- Admission through PGECET / GPAT as per APSCHE guidelines.
- Management quota admissions are as per PCI and University norms.
Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D)
- Passed 10+2 (PCB/PCM)
- Admission through EAPCET or under approved management quota.
2. Admission Procedure
Step 1: Registration
Candidates should register through the AP EAPCET / ECET / PGECET counselling or apply under the management quota as per institutional norms.
Step 2: Document Submission
- 10th & 12th Marksheets
- Transfer Certificate (TC)
- Study/Conduct Certificate
- EAPCET / ECET / PGECET / GPAT Rank Card
- Caste Certificate (if applicable)
- Aadhar Card
- Passport-size photographs
Step 3: Eligibility Verification
Verification of marks, rank, category, age, and other eligibility criteria as per APSCHE & University guidelines.
Step 4: Fee Payment & Seat Confirmation
Candidates must pay the prescribed fee to confirm admission. A written confirmation will be issued by the institution.
Step 5: Orientation &Enrollment
Admitted students must attend the Induction Programme, followed by university enrollment.
3. General Guidelines
- Category-A (Convener Quota) seats are filled strictly through AP EAPCET counselling.
- Category-B (Management Quota) admissions follow APSCHE / University / PCI norms.
- Submission of incorrect or fake documents leads to immediate cancellation.
- All admissions are provisional, subject to university approval.
- Fee refund policy is as per AICTE / APSCHE guidelines.
- Students must follow institutional discipline, dress code, and code of conduct.
4. Anti-Ragging Regulations
- Ragging is strictly banned as per UGC & PCI norms.
- Students must submit an Anti-Ragging Affidavit at the time of admission.
- Strict disciplinary and legal action will be taken against offenders.
