About the CVO

Dr. K. Jyotshna Jayaraju serves as the Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO) at Mother Theresa Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (MIPER). With her strong academic background, disciplined work ethic, and extensive administrative experience, she ensures that the institution maintains the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.

She is recognized for her unbiased approach, leadership qualities, and commitment to creating a safe, secure, and disciplined campus environment for students, faculty, and staff.


Roles & Responsibilities

As the Chief Vigilance Officer, Dr. K. Jyotshna Jayaraju is responsible for:

1. Campus Vigilance & Discipline

  • Ensuring a peaceful and disciplined academic environment.
  • Implementing strict measures against indiscipline, misconduct, and policy violations.
  • Coordinating with faculty and administrative departments to ensure smooth functioning.

2. Anti-Ragging & Student Safety

  • Supervising the implementation of UGC/PCI anti-ragging guidelines.
  • Conducting awareness programs, monitoring vulnerable areas, and addressing student grievances.
  • Ensuring zero tolerance towards ragging and harassment in any form.

3. Examination Vigilance

  • Monitoring the examination process to prevent malpractices.
  • Ensuring confidentiality, transparency, and fairness in all assessment activities.
  • Coordinating with the Controller of Examinations (COE) for enforcement of examination discipline.

4. Confidential Reporting & Investigation

  • Receiving and examining vigilance-related complaints from students, faculty, and staff.
  • Conducting inquiries with honesty, confidentiality, and neutrality.
  • Submitting reports and necessary recommendations to the Principal/Management.

5. Strengthening Institutional Ethics

  • Promoting ethical practices, integrity, and accountability within the institution.
  • Ensuring compliance with PCI, AICTE, APSCHE, and university regulations.
  • Guiding various committees on policy enforcement and good governance.
