Greetings from MOTHER THERESA INSTITUTE OF PHARMACEUTICAL EDUCATION & RESEARCH(MIPER).
Its our immense pleasure to introduce Mother Theresa Institute of Pharmaceutical Education & Research, promoted by the “THERESA SAMUEL GEORGE SOCIETY”.
The members of the society have vast experience in administrating Higher Education Institutions for the last 3 decades.
The Secretary of the society is Dr. A. Sathish being an ophthalmic surgeon viz, NCCSA which is running the Higher Educational Institutions for the last 3 decades. In recognition contribution to the upliftment of the lower strata of the society, the society is promoting “ Mother Theresa Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Kurnool. ”
The President of the society is Smt. C. Theresamma M.Sc., M.Ed., M. Phil., now 80 years old, on whose name the present institution is established. She started her stint as a Headmistress of Government Girls High School in 1960 and served for 23 years as an able administrator. Later in 1983, she co-founded Sree Rayalaseema Christian College of Education, a Teacher Training Institute with her husband, Late Dr. A. Samuel George. This journey continued with the starting of an engineering college in 1997 and a pharmacy college in 2001 at Markapur. With the demise of the founder chairman, Dr. A. Samuel George in 2006, the administration was taken up by / handed over to Dr. A. Sathish, the secretary of the society. In fond remembrance and due respect to his parents, Dr. A. Sathish established this society namely “ THERESA SAMUEL GEORGE SOCIETY ”.
Dr. Stella Sathish who is qualified Gynaecologist from Kurnool Medical College has preponderance commitment for imparting the quality teaching, clinical training and placing the pharmacy graduates to their desired goals viz., by training the students in various skill development programmes, research activities and industrial training by providing ample opportunities for their holistic growth and excellence in their career. Dr. Stella is trained in innovative teaching methods and student centered practices for serving the best to the present world.
